Before and after... some minor Photoshop tricks shown

Hello my brothers and sisters... here's something that I came across on the internet. It's a before and after on the LG BL40. An image of the phone was taken... and played with (in I believe about 30 to 45 minutes) to get the final masterpiece(IMHO). The photo was found HERE.

In response to a challenge I received from the guy who posted on "Learn Photoshop from the expert", here's what I did. The first is the original image,  The LG B40, the second image is my edited version.

DIFFERENCES
-Background
-Phone reflections
-I added the LG logo and gave it a metallic feel.(No where else is my version of the LG logo available)
-Overall beauty of the design, lol

HOW TO VIEW STATISTICS OF ANY WEBSITE INSTANTLY

Well my last post on how to check PageRank stuff in Google Chrome was bit not user friendly. This time let me get it simple to you. Just Drag this LINK to your Chrome/Firefox/IE bookmarks toolbar and click on it whenever you want to see the SEO details of the website you are browsing.
DRAG ME TO BOOKMARK TOOLBAR

After dragging:

You can simply rename the bookmark later if you want. Right click on the bookmark and choose edit. Then you may change the "name" field as shown in the screenshot.

Really nice, especially if you don't have the google toolbar... it's still a good addition to the google toolbar though.

HOW TO GIVE A FOLDER A BACKGROUND IMAGE

This simple and short .ini file will give a folder, memory stick or hard-drive a background image instead of the plain white background.

DOWNLOAD ini FILE

Copy the downloaded .ini file into the folder or drive you want a background image for. Open it (with notepad) and replace the filename on the second line “bg.jpg” with the filename of the image you want as background.So far .jpg, .bmp and .png work. Haven't tested other extensions yet.

Note that the filename of the image must be relative, that is, no paths like “C:/pics/bg.png". The filename should just be imagename.jpg”.

Now go make your folders and drives unique.

The best electronic Bible that I’ve used so far without any doubt in my mind is e-sword. E-sword has come a long way since its first version and is packed with goodies you can find in the download area. Best of all, e-sword is FREE.


E-sword has lot’s of free add-ons like Bibles, commentaries, study notes, pictures, maps and macros. After installing a couple of these, any preacher doing his research manually will be envious, why? E-sword has a lot of user-friendly features for making devotions, sermons, etc.
My favourite extension is the MS Word 2007 macro that allows you to search e-sword Bibles, copy parts of the Bible... and more from MS Word without having to launch e-sword.

E-sword is a must have for any Christian.

I’M SORRY

To all my dear visitors, what can I say? I’ve messed up bad but I’m gonna fix my mistakes. Any of you who have been here before will notice that the content here has been the same with no new stuff for a few months and I am really embarrassed about that, the main reason for that being that I asked God to send me traffic and for the past 5 months or so, God has done that unfailingly (I say unfailingly because since you are reading this, that means God sent you here). Well, I’m back and I’m more committed than ever to improving this blog. So, I’ve posted some stuff and lot’s more are coming up.

I know, a really sweet looking gadget…though it looks like my mum's hand bag.
The Bentley by EGO priced at a mind blowing $19,943... yep, designed for the millionaires. It is hand made and the exterior is made of Bentley leather, yeah, the kind of leathers that Bentley car seats are made of, and is finished with authentic Bentley cross-over hand stitching(well those who have been in a Bentley know about the stitching, I don’t). The leather exterior, which is said to match the deck under the hood, is available in a variety of 10 colors.

The chrome handle of the laptop is said to be very similar to the door handles of the Bentley and are made of white gold.

Here are the specifications:
- Mobile AMD TurionTM 64 processor.
- 64-bit version of Microsoft Vista Ultimate
- 160GB hard drive
- 2GB of RAM
- 12-inch screen with 1280×800 resolution
- 3 USBs, S-video out, a VGA port, 801.11 abg, WLAN, WiFi.
- Front loading DVD±RW
- Webcam

Pretty decent specifications, not exceptional for the price tag but quite good. Do you think we should be expecting a HUMMER laptop soon? I hope not because… well let me keep my opinions to myself.
