• The Holy Communion

The Holy Communion is an act of worship and thanksgiving that should be participated in and done by churches, gatherings and families in accordance to Christ's word (Luke 22:19) "To do this (the Holy Communion) in remembrance of Him" in order to thank God for sending His Son, thank Jesus for giving His life and to show our unity (oneness) with God... but why?

  • Is listening to secular music bad?

    - Is all secular music bad?
    - Am I saying that secular musicians are not talented?
    - What about secular musicians that are believers?
    - But secular music is better than Christian music
    - Why music... why not tv, games, etc?
The Bible says to not be equally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14)... and listening to secular music makes you...

Is listening to secular music bad
  • Why didn't you tell them about Jesus?

Hell is real. It is your responsibility (as well as mine) to tell those who do not know about where people without Christ are headed. We will be held responsible for not sharing our faith... for being disobedient. Your salvation is not meant to be mysterious; Everyone should know. Not fulfilling the Great Commission is disobedience to...

  • Worshiping God is more than lifting y...

Worshiping God, being in the Spirit, feeling God's presence is much much more than lifting your hands up. Some do so because they think it is the right thing to do in God's Presence, others because they see people doing so, and others, for many more wrong reasons: Pride, hypocrisy, etc, or the right ones: adoration, joy, etc. When should you lift your hands up though?

  • Do not take God's glory

Don't take God's glory. Never do. God gives you gifts, skills and talents, so the world can see, be amazed and through your giving Him glory, lead people back to Him. This is a reminder, one that I've needed to remind myself over and over again... Do not take God's glory or He will take it back...

Anyways, here's one of my songs that is a hidden gem to me. I love the lyrics and I'm grateful to God for using me to deliver this message... His message.

Maybe you should say no... out loud

Just say no? Out loud?
Guess you're thinking "What's this guy talking about this time?". Well, I'm talking about temptation.
I'm sure everyone of you has been tempted to do something you don't like doing... or are trying to stop doing?
Usually, the temptations that come your way are easy for you to defeat. "WHAT?? Even when I was tempted to... I could have defeated the temptation??"  YES. It's the truth, it's in the Bible...

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it
(1 Corinthians 10:13)
So the Bible has said so, how do we enforce the rule.... the fact in the scripture that can never be disproved?
It's quite simple.

Submit (humble)yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee(run away) from you.
(James 4:7)

Do I mean shouting at the devil at the top of voice? Yes. If you have to do so to remain clean, do so.

But... what I do is this...
I say a firm "NO" to the devil or his demons, I say No, and I mean no, and get my self(my eyes, mouth, body, computer) out of that tempting environment.
You can't say "NO" to lust.... and keep on staring at some lady inappropriately, you can't say "NO" to cursing and hang around guys that love to cuse... and so on.

So, when next you're tempted, just say "No". Saying "No" is a form of resisting the devil... and if you mean it and cultivate the habit of rebuking him, just like the pathetic, little, ugly wimp he is, he'll run away. The more you win the battle of temptations, the better and stronger your faith will be.

Have a great day.

In the future, think before you complain

I saw this article and decided to share it with you guys.

A blind girl hated herself because she was blind. She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She told her boyfriend, 'If only I could only see the world, I will marry you.'

One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages came off, she was able to see everything, including her boyfriend. He asked her, 'Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?'

The girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind.
The sight of his closed eyelids shocked her. She hadn't expected that. The thought of looking at them the rest of her life led her to refuse to marry him. Her boyfriend left her in tears and days later wrote a note to her saying:
'Take good care of your eyes, my dear, before they were yours, they were mine.'

This is how our human nature (our flesh) often behaves... people even do this to God. When God blesses  us, restores to us or lifts us up, we tend to forget where it's all from. Only a very few remember what life was like before, and who was always by their side in the most painful situations.

-Life Is a Gift from God. Today before you say an unkind word, think of someone who can't speak.
-Before you complain about the taste of your food, think of someone who has nothing to eat.
-Before you complain about your husband or wife, think of someone who's crying out to God for a companion.
-Today before you complain about life, think of someone who is no more.(None of us are here because we are so holy, but because of God's grace, love and mercy).
-Before you complain about your children, think of someone who desires children but has none.
-Before you argue about your dirty house someone didn't clean, think of the people who are living in the streets.
-Before whining about the distance you drive, think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet(because he/she has no choice but to do so).
-And when you are tired and complain about your job , think of the unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your job.
-Before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another - Remember that not one of us is without error and we all answer to God our creator... everyone one of us will(including your pastors, priests, etc)
-And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down - Put a smile on your face and thank God that you're alive and still around.

1. I guess this story also applies to having and asking God for wisdom The boyfriend should have asked God for direction before giving his eyes away.
2. This could also be seen as Jesus giving his life away for us His children. When we turn away from Him and go back to our old ways, we adopt the role of the blind girl. See the relationship?

Have a lovely week everyone.

Share this message with anyone or everyone that will benefit from it.

THE BEST ELECTRONIC BIBLE

The best electronic Bible that I’ve used so far without any doubt in my mind is e-sword. E-sword has come a long way since its first version and is packed with goodies you can find in the download area. Best of all, e-sword is FREE.

E-sword has lot’s of free add-ons like Bibles, commentaries, study notes, pictures, maps and macros. After installing a couple of these, any preacher doing his research manually will be envious, why? E-sword has a lot of user-friendly features for making devotions, sermons, etc.
My favourite extension is the MS Word 2007 macro that allows you to search e-sword Bibles, copy parts of the Bible... and more from MS Word without having to launch e-sword.

E-sword is a must have for any Christian.

Visit www.e-sword.net to download e-sword and other important add-ons.

God bless you.

God doesn’t lie

This is very simple, Numbers 23:19 says God is not a man to lie nor the son of man to repent. That’s it. Hope you like the image below. Courtesy of freestockphoto.com

Ask Jesus into your heart

For you to be on this page means that you want to accept Jesus Christ into your heart. I’m very happy for you because this is the most important decision you’ll ever make in your life. Let’s proceed.

THE PRAYER (Romans 10:9-10)
Pray/Say these words out... not in your heart/mind
Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner. Please forgive my sins and cleanse my heart. I know that you came and died for me and rose from the dead. Please come and live in my heart. Be my savior, king and friend. I commit my life into your hands Jesus. Amen.

That’s it. A BIG congratulation to you. Millions of angels are currently rejoicing in heaven now as your soul has been saved... that’s why you’re so happy. Get a Bible and start going to church. Keep Christian friends and watch your life take a turn for the better. Welcome to the family.

Judging

Everybody judges someone else from time to time right? Well I’ll leave that question for you to answer.
What does the Bible say? (Hebrews 10:30)God will judge his people. That same verse says that vengeance (REVENGE) belongs to God, meaning that we cannot under any circumstance retaliate or return evil for evil. I know, easier said (or typed) than done.

The key is practice, practice makes perfect right? Right. So practice not retaliating or revenging and with time, it’ll be part of you. Do not revenge when you’re hurt, instead treat him/her nice. Why? Romans 12:20 – if your enemy is hungry, feed him, if he’s thirsty give him a drink, if he insults you, bless him... and by doing so you’re heaping coals of fire on his head. Have that verse with you at all times.

(Matthew 7:1)Judge not and you will not be judged. A very smart and wise man of God said: “When an individual commits suicide, no one except God can say whether the individual is going to Heaven or hell”. Yep, if you say in your mind that the man of God is not knowledgeable... that is judging.

Living in sin

Sin, simply is anything that separates us from God. God hates sin because He is pure (Hebrews 7:26).
Do you know that there’s no way to quantify sin? Sin is sin. Doesn’t matter how little it is (e.g. stealing your sisters pen) or how big it is (e.g. stealing a car).

The wages of sin is death(Romans 6:23)... but wait... death here could mean spiritual death(i.e no spiritual growth), death in ministries, finances, etc and even physical death.

The Good news:
I John 1:9- If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and completely remove our unrighteousness. Confessing your sins is easy, get down on your knees, confess to Jesus and ask for forgiveness.

You might say, I don’t lie, I don’t steal, etc therefore I’m not a sinner. Wrong! Romans 3:23 says we all have sinned. Everybody was born in sin and will die in sin without Jesus. Get Jesus here.

Don’t sin people, be sold out for Christ, be a Jesus freak.

The way

If u need help, no matter how minor or major the only way out of your situation is Jesus. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life... the only way to Heaven is Jesus.

Don’t close the window or tab yet... I’m not gonna do any judging here... I won’t... okay let me stop there for now.

God loves you and gave His only son Jesus for you (John 3:16). Jesus died on the cross for me and you. The Bible says that while we were living in sin, Jesus died for us. This simply means that regardless of what you have done in the past or are doing now, Jesus loves you and wants to erase your dirty past.
God has a wonderful plan for you... that’s why He came and died. The Bible says that “God has plans of good and not of evil for you” (Jeremiah 29:11), so don’t blame God for any thing not going well for you.

Finally, if you want the best help... the only help that works 100%, ask Jesus into your heart and see how easy and fair life is. Yes life is fair if you’ve got Jesus. Take my word for it.

How do I know all this? God doesn't lie.
